Zoz was the king of the Sky Kingdom, but his people disappeared and were replaced by shadows of Zoz in an experiment gone wrong. Hunted by his shadows, Zoz must go to the Sky Temple and get the Jewel Crystal. With it, he can revert things to the way they were.
